Example Projects

I tailor my services to each client by crafting proposals that connect the goals of a project to my client's mission, budget, and timeline. My projects have varied from intensive 30 hours/week for one month to a longer-term, less-embedded 2 hours/week for 6 months. Below are a few examples of the kinds of engagements I take on.

  • (~30 hrs/week, 1 month) — Supported the launch of a major foundation's new grantmaking processes under a fresh strategic plan. I developed project management systems and migrated them into my client’s chosen project management software, designed checkpoints for senior leaders to approve key deliverables, and designed cross-functional workflows that ensured teams had support and structure to collaborate effectively.

  • (~20 hrs/month, 2 months) — Managed end-to-end content development and speaker logistics for a venture philanthropy organization’s multiple national practitioner conferences, including COO/CFO and enrollment-focused convenings. I analyzed RSVP data alongside industry benchmark data to identify priorities for conference programming, conducted exploratory calls with prospective presenters, developed a mix of sessions that met the needs of my client and their stakeholders, then provided support to presenters as they crafted session materials.

  • (~10 hrs/month, 3 months)

Created and implemented a webinar series and accompanying playbook to support school networks improve spring new family engagement and boost conversion rates to reach public revenue targets.

(~20 hrs/month, 6 months) — Designed and built a comprehensive 15-module e-learning course for a national charter school support organizations, equipping target audience engagement staff with strategic frameworks to reach public revenue targets.

Work I'm Eager to Take On

My career has given me a rare combination of frontline, operational, and strategic experience across nonprofit development, sales operations, and philanthropy; I'm actively seeking projects that pull these threads together in new ways. Here's where I'm most excited to make an impact:

  • Some of my most meaningful work has lived at the intersection of philanthropy and operations. Early in my career I served as a grant writer and development associate, securing $6.6M+ in philanthropic investments and managing funder relationships from cultivation through close. In other words, I understand what it feels like to navigate a funding cycle from the applicant side of the table. Since launching my consulting practice, I've been able to design the operational infrastructure that made grantmaking happen for a foundation: translating strategic objectives into clear timelines, milestones, and decision-making processes. I’ve also supposed grant makers through meaningful portfolio-member engagement: developing toolkits, webinars, and conference materials adopted by education organization nationwide. I know that the quality of grantmaking operations directly shapes what's possible for the communities that funders are trying to serve, and I'm eager to bring both the practitioner empathy and the operational rigor to get that right.

  • Declining birthrates, continued gentrification, and shifting demographics are quietly reshaping public education in ways that most school systems aren't yet prepared for. I've spent over a decade leading enrollment strategy and community engagement for a national charter school network, and I've watched these forces play out in real time across diverse markets. I'm passionate about partnering with school districts and charter networks to build proactive, data-informed long-term enrollment plans that treat demographic risk as a strategic priority, not a surprise. I bring both the analytical rigor to model what's coming and the community engagement expertise to build the family relationships that determine whether a school thrives — an uncommon combination that positions me to support leaders not just in understanding the challenge, but in doing something about it.

  • I understand and appreciate the human element that exists as a throughline between sales strategy, operational infrastructure, and stakeholder partnership; and I'm interested in bringing my perspective to roles where the work centers on translating data into decisions, building systems that enable consistent performance, and owning the full arc of a relationship from first outreach through long-term success. At Rocketship, I owned the full sales (enrollment) lifecycle across five regions: setting quotas, managing pipelines, and leading cross-functional teams to hit targets - ultimately growing enrollment over my tenure at a time of national decline. I led a complex CRM implementation end-to-end, from vendor evaluation and pricing negotiation through network-wide adoption, improving lead conversion by 45% and cutting manual reporting time by 60%. Whether the opportunity is oriented toward business operations, revenue performance, or partnerships management, I bring the same mindset: clear accountability for outcomes, a bias toward action, and the operational rigor to make strategy stick.
